Calculation tasks increasingly include the requirement that a large number of variants must be solved. Because the level of detail and thus the model size of the variants is growing at the same time, computing capacities must be increased and expanded into clusters.

And yet - especially during peak loads - computing resources repeatedly reach their limits. High Performance Computing technologies (HPC) and the integration of cloud computers, which can be started on demand, is able to solve this limitation.

On the technology day, it was shown how the Ansys Platform solution DCS (Distributed Compute Services) orchestrates and leanly manages projects, their variants and resources. We will also presented how Ansys DCS, in addition to pure coordination, offers possibilities to connect any simulation tools to solve a complex task.

In addition, we provided information on how it can be integrated into often heterogeneous system landscapes of companies by means of extensive configuration options.
