Optimal hardware concepts for simulation

Find the optimum through the interaction of modern hardware and the corresponding license pool

Webinar

Details

Sparse or PCG, millions of nodes or cells, many load steps or variants, user programming or CADFEM extensions, CAD connection or integration into your own processes – the main requirements of a simulation team can usually be counted on one hand. A customized hardware and license landscape is then derived from this. But how does this reduction to the essentials succeed if there is a very wide range of tools and license types as well as different CPUs and hardware solutions?

The webinar answers this question not only with examples, but also with guiding principles based on rationally chosen (e.g. variation in value for money) and absolute (max. performance parameters) limits.

It does not provide the “single solution”, but rather a good way to find one. This strategy then applies to current requirements as well as to further development in the multi-year hardware cycle.
