TURBOdesign Suite is an easy-to-use software for turbomachinery design based on a 3D inverse design approach. Optimal blade and meanline geometry is derived directly from flow properties, taking into account requirements like high efficiency or cavitation avoidance.
When performing optimization, 3D inverse Design allows to represent the design space using a very small number of parameters.
This - together with TURBOdesign Suite’s integration in Ansys Workbench – allows fast and efficient multi-goal optimization (e.g. regarding temperature stress or blade vibrations) and can help to achieve robust off-design behaviour.
