A modelbased roadtrip

How you can reduce the development time of your safety-critical products

Thursday, October 21, 2021, 11.00 – 11.45 a.m.

From requirements to code generation and back with SIEMENS Polarion ALM and Ansys SCADE

Jump into our electrical racing car (eROD) and follow the traceability path of a modelbased change request in context of a modelbased software development approach. This traceability path is based on the dependency between requirements and linked model artefacts and extended by safety compliant code generation, thus dramatically increasing software quality.

Program

In this webinar, we take you on a short trip with SIEMENS Polarion ALM and Ansys SCADE in our electric eROD and show you the interaction of requirements and models incl. code generation in the regulated area using a practical example.

After picking up speed, however, we discover that the adaptive cruise control is not working properly and therefore change the route at short notice to an all-in-one workshop. Thanks to the fully documented traceability of the eROD throughout the entire development process, the workshop can use the model view of the adaptive cruise control to quickly identify the fault, modify the model and automatically generate the correct code for the adaptive cruise control - all based on common norms and standards for a stress-free continuation of the journey.

Throughout the entire process, our workshop staff Susan Faust and Martin Meiler will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Be curious and fasten your seat belt.
