Reduce millions of degrees of freedom to a few hundred and thus efficiently simulate dynamic processes

The algorithms contained in Model Reduction inside Ansys translate the high-dimensional 3D FEM model into a size-optimized model that approximates its properties. The degree of simplification is specified by the user on the basis of a permissible approximation error. Model Reduction inside Ansys can be applied to any linear model from Ansys Mechanical, and, in particular, to piezoelectric and thermomechanical models.  The process of model simplification is considerably faster than a dynamic simulation based on the original data. This makes CADFEM Ansys Extension suitable as a fast solver for transient and harmonic simulations. The reduced matrix system can be read directly into the common tools for system simulation.
