Simulating Roller Bearings Using Rolling Bearing inside Ansys
Learn how you can significantly increase the accuracy of your simulations by considering nonlinear rolling bearing characteristics. This training is offered as a 1-day course.
Duration
1 day
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of Ansys Mechanical
Software used
Ansys Mechanical, Rolling Bearing inside Ansys
- Simple and efficient consideration of roller bearings in the overall assembly
- Determine bearing stiffness dependent on operating condition
- Understanding the influence of bearing parameters on dynamic behavior
- Licence "Rolling Bearing inside Ansys" free of charge for 3 months
Description
With Rolling Bearing inside Ansys, CADFEM and Meshparts have developed a solution that allows the precise mapping of rolling bearings comfortably and efficiently in Ansys Mechanical. On this training, you will learn about the requirements that are placed on the roller bearing simulation and how you can meet them without expert knowledge. You will learn how to consider the operating point-dependent bearing stiffness in your overall model and which influencing factors there are. It does not matter whether it is a typical roller bearing from a catalogue or a new design for a rolling bearing. Furthermore, you will learn how to use the bearing stiffnesses in a dynamic simulation of the entire assembly.
You will learn how to handle Rolling Bearing inside Ansys by means of practical exercises. In addition to the software operation, you will gain an insight into the influence of the bearing preload on the static as well as the dynamic behavior of the entire assembly. This course is aimed at project managers, calculation engineers and designers, who need to design assemblies with roller bearings according to the latest state of the art techniques, in order to analyze them and thus prevent failures at an early stage. To enable you to immediately start making use of your new knowledge we will provide you with a free 3-month duration Rolling Bearing inside Ansys license at the end of the training.
