Additive Manufacturing - Optimized Components and Processes
Recording of the Simulation Conference 2021 on Thursday, Oct 07, 2021
Content of the event webcast
The use of simulation software is an important factor when it comes to cost-efficient additive manufacturing. Due to the fact that 3D printers have expensive lifecycles, printing errors can quickly prove critical to any budget – and it therefore makes sense to use simulation during the development process itself to pinpoint which areas of given components are going to be susceptible to errors in the printing process.
Ansys provides a very broad spectrum of solutions for this type of work, covering everything from PBF (PBF) process simulation to DED (direct energy deposition) and Binder jet 3D printing, and also parameter development, optimization of topology, job preparation, and materials management.
The lectures were held in the language of the lecture title.
