3D Printing - you got in and now?
The entry into 3D printing has been achieved, but now questions arise regarding: product optimization, avoidance of misprints and cost savings. Experience and discuss with us the possibilities of additive manufacturing.
The event is supported by:
What awaits you?
Impulses, ideas and exchange with like-minded people! Moderated by 3D printing podcaster Johannes Lutz. Exciting technical contributions from: Rosswag Engineering, GKN Sinter Metals Engineering, TÜV Süd, the KIT and CADFEM.
The free event will be rounded off by two live workshops:
- Workshop 1: "Process simulation in 3D printing" by CADFEM employee Keno Kruse
Unfortunately, workshop 1 is already booked out.
- Workshop 2: "What does the AM component of tomorrow need?" by Philipp Schwarz, Rosswag Engineering.
There is no registration necessary for workshop 2.
In recent years, 3D printing has been discovered by the industry and has become a real hype. Additive components are not only used in the automotive and aerospace industries, but small and medium-sized companies are also increasingly turning to additive manufacturing. The advantage is obvious: prototypes and even serial parts can be produced within a very short time - usually within a few days - without the need for complex moulds. But also the integration of many functions into one component or the combination of entire assemblies into one additive component can save a lot of time and money over the entire process chain. At the CADFEM Online Technology Day 3D Printing, we want to show you how these savings can also work through simulation.

After registering you will receive a confirmation. A few days before the event, you will also receive the invitation to join the Webex Event Session. The event will start several minutes before scheduled. You will have enough time to set up you connection properly. There is no need to install the software. It can be run as a temporary application. You can either use a headset or dial in via telephone.
After our online technology day in the morning, there is a lunch break. From 13:00 o'clock we start with the life workshop. You will also receive an access link for this when you register.
During the lectures all participants are muted. You have the possibility to write your question briefly in the special F&A area. In the following question rounds we will unmute your mute so that you can introduce yourself and address your question to the speaker. If you do not have a microphone, we will gladly take over your question. Please write this directly to us with your written question.
