Pultrusion is a manufacturing process for a wide variety of profile geometries made of continuous fiber-reinforced plastics. Simulating the pultrusion process is quite complex because not only is matrix material injected into a tool filled with reinforcing fibers, but these fibers are also moved and compressed at the same time.
