Implicit or explicit solver has always been a big decision. But what is the right solution? In this lecture, we clear up old misconceptions, e.g., that impact can only be simulated with explicit methods or static applications only with implicit methods. We also want to show that explicit simulations are no longer reserved for simulation experts.
