Scroll compressors are suitable for use in hybrid and electric cars. During one revolution of the Scroll side, process gas such as air or refrigerant is compressed from a few millibars to over 100bar. In addition to the pressure load, there is also a thermal load. In order to optimize the component design, the loads and the resulting deformations and stresses of the components must be known in advance with high accuracy.
