Elektromagnetics "Best Practice"

Recordings from our CADFEM Electromagnetic Technology Day "Best Practice"

Electric Drives - Elektromagnetics Best Practice

Recording of the Technology Day "Elektromagnetik Best Practice" from June 1st, 2021.

Content of the Webcast

After the initial analytical draft, e.g. based on the Essons number or the torque ratio per volume, the the electromagnetic FEM simulation is the base of every motor development process. Usually 2D, sometimes 3D, this analysis is part of everyday business. Classical methods, like the computation of iron losses based on Steinmetz- or Bertotti formulas, are well-known. The technological progress, needed to stay in business, thrives new process technologies and materials, like litz wires or hairpin windings. All of them have to be modelled in the simulation.
