Archives of the Virtual Forum CADFEM & Ansys 2021

Every afternoon from June 1 to 3, 2021, engineers followed us online and watched the "Forum Virtuel CADFEM & Ansys".

Forum Virtuel CADFEM & Ansys 2021

The Forum was held this year, online, from June 1-3, 2021, every afternoon. It was a joint event organized by CADFEM Switzerland and CADFEM France.

A unique French speaking event on simulation

This year, the Forum took place online. We wanted to stay as close as possible to the original concept. So during the virtual Forum, the audience discovered the latest advances in simulation, through various presentations of real projects from the industrial world.

  • 1 virtual format interactive, free of charge,
  • 3 afternoons with 3 focus, from June 1st to June 3rd,
  • covering most of the physics : FEM, CFD, DEM, Electromagnetism LF and HF, etc.
  • Language: French
  • 1 contest : election of the best presentations for Switzerland and France

The Best Paper for Switzerland is Jean Decaix (HEVS)

He presented "Analysis of premature fatigue of a Francis turbine wheel by fluid-structure simulation" - Abstract.
Mr. Decaix is a scientific assistant at HEVS. In 2012, he obtained a PhD in Fluid Mechanics, Processes and Energetics from the University of Grenoble following the completion of a thesis in numerical simulation of cavitation in the Geophysical and Industrial Flow Laboratory.
Since 2012, he has been working as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland (HES-SO) Valais-Wallis with a focus on numerical simulation in hydraulic turbines.

The winner for France is Henrique Agreli (ACOEM)

He shown to use of the "Acoustic black hole to reduce the level of vibrations" - Abstract.
Henrique AGRELI is Lead Engineer at ACOEM METRAVIB since 2017. He has a degree in Engineering Physics and his main areas of interest are noise and vibration and structural dynamics.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I sign up for an event?

By using the registration form on the site relating to the event.

Is there any charge for taking part?

No, participation is free and does not involve any obligation but registration.

Can I participate in multiple events and can several people register at once?

You may participate in all the events or each days, but each participant needs to register individually. If you use myAccount to register, it will speed up the process.

Where will the event take place?

The event will be taking place in a virtual conference room (Webex). You will receive the link to register few hours before the event. In the meantime, please save the date manually in your calendar.

Will my registration data be passed to any third parties?

No, CADFEM will not pass any data of any kind to any third parties.

As a participant, will I receive any documents relating to the lectures following the sessions?
