WOST Conference 2024
This conference is for all engineers and decision makers who are willing to amplify the power of simulation with parametric variation and robust design optimization. This year the focus is on AI.
Since launching in 2003, Ansys optiSLang established itself as one of the leading process integration and design optimization (PIDO) software. During the WOST conferences initial years, we focused on methods of optimization and stochastic analysis. Later, topics such as metamodeling and CAE process integration were added. Today, these technologies span the entire product lifecycle, ranging from development to production to deployment.
CADFEM Germany and Ansys Germany in Weimar are inviting you for a full day event to network and hear from leading industries about the latest advances in simulation-based optimization.
Get Together

Conference Venue
Ettersburg Castle
Am Schloss 1, 99439, Ettersburg
- Leave the A4 (first) at the exit "Nohra/ Weimar West" and take the B7 (bypass) in the direction of Weimar.
- In Weimar, follow the signs to "Jena".
- Turn left at the third traffic light, following the sign "Sömmerda/ Gedenkstätte Buchenwald".
- Do not turn left at the obelisk to the Buchenwald Memorial, but continue straight ahead: through the Ettersberg settlement (on the right) and also on the road to the "nursing home" (left) past the edge of the forest, continue straight ahead towards Sömmerda.
- Finally, turn left for about 1 km, following the signs "Schloss Ettersburg/ Parkplatz".
- The public, free parking lot is located shortly after the village on the right side.
- The footpath through the village is about 300 meters long, for cultural events the way through the park to the door at the rifle hall is recommended.
Take the Weimar city bus line 4, for example, from the main train station or Goetheplatz to Ettersburg (Schloss). The journey takes a good quarter of an hour from there.
The closest railway station is Weimar Train Station. The Weimar city bus line 4 travels directly to Ettersburg Castle.
