NDA situation

NDA situation
  • In case of an NDA with an industry partner of the project, there are three separate occasions which are important.
  • During the community meetings, the students are responsible for not breaching their NDA terms.
  • For the assessment of the work by the jury at the end of the contest, the jury needs to have access to the report of the project. They are seasoned veterans in terms of supervising student projects and working with industry partners and are happy to sign a separate NDA with the respective industry partner to facilitate judging of the work.
  • The winning participants need to be able to present their work in front of a public audience in a reasonable way. Typically, it is possible to present excerpts without any product-specific or revealing data. The participants are required to openly communicate with their supervisor and industry partners during the contest in order to facilitate reasonable presentation of their work in public. The jury and organizer (CADFEM Suisse AG) of the contest are happy to support the participants in these matters.
  • If you want to participate but are unsure about the NDA situation, please contact us at contact-casa@cadfem.ch to resolve the problem in cooperation with your supervisor and industry partner.
