Details

Aeroacoustics is dealing with Noise generated by flow processes. You will get an overview about different typical aeroacoustic problems, like fan noise, flow and sound generation in ducts or for components like sensors or flaps. Methods of identifying sound sources and prepresenting sound propagation within the flowing fluid will be discussed and simulation-based measures for noise reduction will be demonstrated.

Benefits

In this webinar you get some insight into feasible ways of treating aeroacoustic topics using computational fluid dynamics. You will learn how to implement ANSYS CFD in the product development process in order to reduce flow noise.

Target Group

This webinar addresses development and simulation engineers as well product managers or decision makers having to deal with noise problems within flows, e.g. the context of fans, pipes, air-ducting systems, flaps and valves, outlets or mufflers.

Agenda

  • Overview about noise generation in flows
  • Typical aeroacoustic applications
  • Capabilities for aeroacoustic simulation in ANSYS CFD

Language

The language of the Webinar is German.
