CADFEM Intensive Workshops

Pure frontal teaching is a thing of the past: With the new CADFEM intensive workshops, we have significantly expanded our didactic toolbox to take you as an engineer to a new level.

Didactic Concept: Flipped Classroom

The underlying flipped classroom concept reverses the classic form of teaching - knowledge transfer in the classroom and independent practice at home. In our learning concept, you ideally acquire the necessary prior knowledge independently in our modern eLearning courses or in our traditional seminars. The practice and consolidation of complex, practical tasks then takes place in the intensive workshops. By discussing and reflecting on different solution approaches, you will gain the confidence to analyze and structure different engineering tasks and solve them using simulation.

Schedule of a Workshop

Each workshop has a clear focus and a typical complex task from everyday engineering that needs to be solved. At the beginning of each workshop, we work in groups to summarize the basics of the respective topic. Each participant has the opportunity to share their knowledge on the topic and to get rid of any unanswered questions. A lot of time is given to planning and working on the complex task. These are designed in such a way that they inevitably run into typical problems from everyday life. Combining the knowledge of why these problems occur with the knowledge already acquired to solve them is a unique feature of this format. This process is accompanied by group discussions so that everyone learns from everyone else. As a result, you will be able to justify your simulation decisions and transfer your knowledge to new problems.
