Simulation for the watch industry: How to design efficiently?
In this workshop, you will discover the main principles of watchmaking simulation and how simulation can be integrated into the R&D of a manufacturer. CADFEM's experience in watch simulation is widely recognized in Switzerland. We are happy to share our know-how in the field of simulation using services that are based on the requirements of the watchmaking industry.
What can you expect from this discovery workshop?
Watchmakers attending this workshop will see the range of solutions for calculating watches with Ansys, using real examples of a pragmatic approach. They will also have the opportunity to direct their specific questions to CADFEM engineers. The workshop ends with a joint meal, allowing participants to exchange ideas with the CADFEM team.

- Study of a bridge under impact (5'000 g): deformation and stresses
- Study of a bottom under pressure: determination of the residual deformation
- Study of a spring: stress and reaction torque
