Tutorial No. 20 - Simulation of a double reflector antenna
How to use Ansys HFSS to calculate the radiation characteristics of a double reflector antenna.
In this CADFEM Ansys Tutorial we show you how to use Ansys HFSS to calculate the radiation characteristics of a double reflector antenna. To enable you to effectively illustrate the reflection on electrically large structures and the effect of the radome made of a dielectric material we utilize the ‘finite element boundary integral hybrid solver’. Furthermore, the curvilinear boundary elements in HFSS help you to produce good illustrations of the reflection on the reflectors.
Agenda:
Calculation radiation characteristics using
- Finite element boundary integral hybrid solver
- Electrically large structures
- Dielectric materials
- Curvilinear boundary elements for the sake of good and effective illustration of reflections on mirrors
