Marketing & Sales Development Specialist
This is a new and exciting role for a candidate looking for a role in business development and marketing within an SME B2B environment. The position is equally suitable for those looking for their first role in business development, or for an experienced professional looking for flexible working hours.
THE ROLE
The role & responsibilities fall into three main areas where the candidate will be expected to spend about 30% of their time on each as follows:
- Working closely with the Business Development team to ensure incoming business leads are responded to, logged and assigned to the correct sales account manager.
- Reviewing & updating the CRM customer/prospects database to ensure that our records are up-to-date, eliminating unnecessary clutter (database hygiene).
- Promoting & supporting marketing campaigns and events (including webinars, training events and other events as required)
The remaining 10% of the role includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Track effectiveness of lead engagement & marketing campaigns and assess the ROI. Deliver periodic reports on the work, including campaign results.
- Collect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns.
- Identifying bottlenecks/issues to help evolve and scale the leads process & improve conversion.
All training & mentoring is provided to get you familiar with the role.
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed a marketing related degree or course
- Good communication skills in English (email & phone)
- Good time management & prioritization skills.
- Familiarity with Google Apps (Google Sheets, Google Docs and Google Slides)
- Familiarity with SalesForce CRM a bonus (but not required)
- Familiarity with engineering market segments a bonus (but not required)
- Enjoy working in a small, dynamic team
